A woman sitting on a bench, dressed in old-fashioned clothing, including a white headscarf, holding a small object, with text describing her as performing witchcraft with magic wands, chanting, cursing, and consulting a spell book, then suddenly using a blanket, with the caption 'Witchcraft!'

Hi there! Here are a couple of facts about who is knitting your beanies and other apparel…. yep, I do like to knit but I also like to ski, hike, swim and hang out at home with my family. I have two grown boys, one husband and two golden retrievers (an old man and a puppy).

I grew up behind the “Iron curtain” where what you did not have you had to make. So I learned how to sew, knit etc. Sewing remained marginal at best but knitting kept evolving. I learn new styles and patterns all the time. I knit almost every day, making up patterns and designs as I go.

I was always told “You should be selling all that”. So the idea was born. I started to attend Craft Fairs, Farmer’s markets, opened an account on Etsy. Most fun and profitable were POP UP sales in the neighborhood.

I recognized that people like and appreciate what I make. Hand made beanies and apparel should be celebrated as it makes unique and one of a kind gifts.

I am retired (due to recent diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis) from many years working in about every branch of Physical Therapy there is.  More time for knitting …. :-) So that’s my story. Now take look at what I make for you.
